Just the other night, AbiNoelle proclaimed that it was Husband and Wife Night! For some that could be akin to the kindergarten teacher explaining how SHE and her WIFE cook together, spend time together, live together, etc. and then cunningly proposing to the class the question of whether or not THEY were a FAMILY. The books King and King and King, King, and Family further aggrandize the agenda. For AbiNoelle, when Mommy responded: “Yippee!…..what does that mean?”, in her own confident way she said, “Well, it means that…

….Mommy gets to cook supper, we get to eat it, and then Daddy gets to play with AbiNoelle – that’s Husband and Wife Night!” The Definition of Family, Praise God, has remained true and pure for AbiNoelle in her K4 lessons.

Education without goals is futile. Education first began in America in effort to teach children to read the Bible, for TRUTH was precious and believed to be the most important tool anyone could possess.  In AbiNoelle’s kindergarten, the A Beka DVD teachers have not dismissed any opportunity to teach the Biblical lesson of the family as God created it, and for that we are grateful; for I cringe to think of the many little minds being influenced toward the wicked agenda of those seeking to subvert and deny the Truth. As AbiNoelle’s hands held the artist’s portrayal of God’s design for the family, we rejoiced to hear her say the Bible verse with Mrs. Wasser “Blessed are they that hear the Word of God and keep it. Luke 11:28.”

Just today, she held four of her Bible verse cards and declared that they were her favorite verses. Some clearly have the goal to influence a generation to reject the TRUTH; with a view of eternity, we have the goal to impact our child with the TRUTH of the gospel, and, to have a curriculum that not only supports but teaches Biblical truth is not just icing on the cake, preference, or luxury, but a commitment before the Lord.

Whisky, frisky,
Hippity hop;
Up he goes
To the tree top!

Whirly, twirly,
Round and round,
Down he scampers
To the ground.image

imageFurly, curly
What a tail!
Tall as a feather
Broad as a sail!

Where’s his supper?
In the shell,
Snap, cracky,
Out it fell.

It’s AbiNoelle’s favorite poem, right now. It was super fun to feed him acorns and read words with Mrs. Pintar.

Words, words, and more words – she loves to use words, learn new words, tell stories and pretend to write and illustrate stories. What imagination!

imageThe class is counting to 40 this week. Numbers class is always exciting with all the games, and this week was no exception with the house and all those little windows to peep behind when the numbers question was answered correctly.

Snapping to the number!

One day, the orchard even grew in our class and AbiNoelle proudly “snapped” out each number, picked an orange and took a bite right along with her class.

What big hands you have!

And let’s not forget Activity Time! A favorite part was acting out “Little Red Riding Hood” with the boys and girls.

Where is grandmother?

No doubt, she gets an A+ in that class!

And yes….Fall has arrived and so we are preparing for our Days of Praise. Mommy finished up the new board
imagewhile AbiNoelle had her very first sleepover with MeMe and PopPop (now, that was a DAY OF PRAISE for Mommy – ha, ha, ha!) AbiNoelle’s gasps of excitement when she saw the new decorations made it all the more fun! Our calendar helps her count down the days until our special trip with Grandma and Grandpa, and then, upon our return, each morning she will get to uncover the “Thank you, God, for?” poster to reveal a picture of one of God’s blessings and then add a “praise leaf” to our Thanksgiving Tree.

Fun days ahead, thankful days ahead, and most importantly, days of TRUTH ahead.
